Chose Scape La Trobe as my student accomodation for an internship I was doing over the summer.

Building and staff were great. Facilities were excellent. Close by to supermarkets and stores with a tram line right outside.

Tip for any new students, is to make sure you choose your own room if possible to avoid having a bad view or living near the bin chute.

Thanks

I was an Scape LaTrobe resident for two years. One of the best Scape buildings if not the best. All of the staff were always lovely but Hasan always stood out as one of the friendliest and best people to help me with anything. Always good vibes with him and has went above and beyond at our requests. Thank you Scape for the lovely experience and thank you Hasan.

Absolutely fun staying here! The staffs are very friendly and the amenities are incredible. Living in a student accomodation helps me to stay in touch with my uni mates and expand my social network. All the well-organised student events really bring the whole community together.

Scape LaTrobe has been a wonderful place to stay for the past year. The staff in latrobe is hands down the best. Especially the manager, Jason he has been a great help to me and others im sure. He is quick in resolving any issues and has a fun and easygoing personality that makes him easy to talk to. The building is also getting better with gym equipment updates and other things. I really enjoyed my stay at Scape Latrobe especially with the current staff which has been wonderful in creating a great living experience. I really recommend this place compared to other shapes in the city because of its price, amenities and location too.

My friend and I stayed at Scape La Trobe and genuinely had the best experience. The management team is so kind, helpful, and always went out of their way to support us — even with the smallest things. The place always felt safe, clean, and welcoming. Whether it was needing help late at night or just having a friendly chat, they were always there. It truly felt like a second home, and we’re so grateful for the care and comfort we received. Highly recommend to any students new to the city!

The easiest way to pay your rent is through our fortnightly direct debit system. We also have full upfront payment options. If you wish to pay the full rent amount in one lump sum, you can do this with a credit or debit card at Reception or by bank transfer. International transfers or credit card payments may result in a surcharge from your bank.

The bond is a security deposit registered with the appropriate state-based authority and covers any damage you may cause to the room. Don’t worry, this excludes normal wear and tear. You will receive an email 10 days before your contract start date asking you to pay a security deposit through the Resident Portal.

It is refundable at the end of your stay with us if there are no damages, your room is left clean and there is no outstanding rent. You will receive an email when your bond is ready to be returned. Release of your bond from the state-based authority will be transferred into an Australian bank account of your choice.
